Ordering wholesale flowers online?!?

I am getting married and am trying to look at ways of saving money. I am thinking about ordering the wedding flowers wholesale online! Has anyone done this? Did you have a good experience? What about DIY wedding in a box flowers from major flower wholesalers?

I am not worried about having to create my bouquets or center pieces, I am MORE worried about the quality of the flowers and things like that!

Ordering wholesale flowers online?!?
I'm buying bulk flowers from Sam's Club... After Valentine's Day is over the prices will drop back down to 125 white roses for $87... I've ordered flowers from there before and they were beautiful. There's many other sites out there but I haven't tried them sorry.
Reply:Hi. I used the following (www.rosesource.com) and have recommended it to others on here. They sell ALL varieties of flowers, but, of course, roses are their specialty. The minimum on roses, though is 75 (roses...not dollars!) I can vouch for the quality and the on-time shipment from this company. You can view my testimonial under "Gail B." One thing, though....it's a lot of work!....But, I saved almost $1,000 so it was worth it and I would do it again.

Also, if you live by a Walmart, I know you can special order roses from them. They are only $10-$12 for a dozen. I buy roses from Walmart all the time (for my home.) I think you can do the same at a Costco.

Good luck! Yes, it is definitely a savings.
Reply:I did it. I ordered my flowers from samsclub.com and I had a great experience. The only thing that didn't work out like I planned were the lillies. When I received them they hadn't opened yet. We had to go ahead and make the bouquets and arrangements with the buds only. It still turned our beautifully and it actually gave them a unique twist. I was very happy with the results and I would do it again.
Reply:get them at costco!!! that's what i did. you can preorder them and they come in FRESH then and they let you take them home in buckets of water...

let me know if you want to see picutres of the boquets.. you can't email me though..
Reply:Hi! My friend used this website for her wedding flowers and they were absolutely amazing! She had a very large, lavish wedding and the flowers were stunning (all red and white roses). I am getting married in September and plan on buying my flowers from there as well. They have a good wedding section on their website as well. My friend told me that you can call them and actually customize your order also...so, you aren't just limited to the one's listed on the site. Hope this helps!

Reply:I actually had the same idea and did a lot of research online, trying to find wholesale flowers not only for a reasonable price but also with great quality.

Here are some of the best options I found. These are the ones I would likely go with

and cotsto and sams club

I have seen some of the DIY kits but for the same price I found that I would have more variety and get more flowers for the same price by ordering a mixture. esp from flower exchnage. I plan to use a popping colors but if you wanted to keep it more simple then the kits would be a great way to go! Hope I helped : )
