I am a little confused as to who goes in first? The groom and his best man are supposed to be at the halter, right?...then the flower girls come in or do each groomsman/bridesmaid come in as a couple and take their places on the sides after that....someone please help!!! When does the ring bearer come in???
In what order do the bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, etc walk in the church?
Here are a couple of sites to look at, but unless you have a formal wedding, you can pretty much do the processional how ever you would like to.
Reply:consult your wedding planner, officiant, ceremony site coordinator for help. it really can be what you want. my husband and groomsmen did not want to walk down the aisle, so they came out all at once to the alter. then the order went from the girl furthest from me at the alter first to flower girl, maid of honor and then me.
Reply:There are different ways. When I got married the groom, bestman and all the groomsment were already at the alter. then the bridesmaid came down alone the maid of honor going last. Then the flower girl and ring bearer. Then me. When we went back is was us first, the flower girl and ring bearer, the maid of honor and best man together, then each set of bridesmaid/groomsment went back as a couple.
Reply:there are soo many different ways to do it now. when i got married 7 years ago, the groom and best man were at the alter. then the bridesmaids and groomsmen came in together and then the ring barer and flower girl came in together then i came in.

The traditional way has been mentioned already. The groom, best man and groomsmen are in the altar. Followed by the bridesmaid and the maid of honor. Then the flower girl and ring bearer. This is what I like about weddings, anything goes. You can personalize a wedding experience.
