Wedding flowers?

Does anyone know of a good place to order flowers for a wedding? I am looking for a reasonable price. I may just order them and have someone arrange them on site. Any good wholesalers?

Wedding flowers?
Grocery stores and Produce centers sell wholesale flowers in bulk. I'd go local if you can. Some one local is going to bust their hump to make it right. Some of these online places you can be sh*touttaluck. Especially with the heat and shipping plus storage.
Reply:Hi ,

Use Salehoo, you will find many wholesalers there for flowers , http://www.salehoowholesalers.com , its a really big wholesalers list, here is also there search page http://search.salehoowholesalers.com

Hope this helps
Reply:I am doing Gerbera daisies and have actually considered ordering them through samsclub.com because they are so cheap.
Reply:You can try FlowerBuyer.com to purchase your flowers, however, as far as I know, they cater to retail and wholesale florists, therfore you may need a Fed tax ID. either way, being far from a major airport will add quite some expense, even to the most inexpensive of blooms. this is because as a perishable item, most reputable growers will ONLY ship Fedex, overnight, to ensure the product arrives fresh This alone can add 30-50% to the cost. You may try contacting the California flower Growers Assn. or maybe even the Texas assn...In short, It ain't gonna be easy, and in the end, Costco may be your best option..Good Luck
Reply:the daughter in law of a woman i work with actually ordered hers through either shoprite or stop and shop flower dept. I am not sure if she had to arrange them or not but she said it was a lot cheaper
Reply:You haven't said what city you live in!

Try a google search for wholesale florists in your city, try the yellow pages. I don't think your local florist will tell you the name of his wholesaler.

Also, you could make a trip to your local "central market". Most large cities have one. Ask around and find out which day the flowers arrive then follow up.

My niece did this, she went there at 5:30 in the morning and there were all the wholesalers showing off their beautiful flowers and the florists walked around and then placed their orders.
Reply:Call your local flower shops.
Reply:Your local flower shop should either 1. be able to give you a good price on buying bulk flowers, or 2. be able to give you somewhere that buys and sells wholesale. Go around to several flower shops and ask around.
